I laughed out loud while reading it. I've never mowed either, but mostly because I'm allergic to freshly cut grass. Also, my anal retentative husband would say that I got the "lines wrong" if I attempted to shave the lawn. AND...we have a tractor to take care of our field and one of those huge zero-radius things that require an apprenticeship at NASA to run...this all works out to mean: expensive machinery+Leigh Anne's efforts=grounds for divorce. It's better I tend to the flowers/garden, then we're all happy. But hey--huge KUDOS to you for even attempting this. I'm very proud of you! p.s. Ours had that self-propel thing on it, too... it self-propelled me right into the side of a car the first time I used it.
